take the responsibility
What we can do?????
AN average person browsing the internet clicks the mouse for 100-150 times per hour. Can't we spare even 1 click for the dying.Isn't it our responsibility??.If I ask anyone the site they visit they may say cricinfo.com or indiaglitz.com or something else.Did you find any person who visits sites like thehungersite.com daily.May be 1 in a million.
A click-to-donate site is a website where users can click a button to generate a donation for a charity or cause. The money for the donation comes from advertisers whose banners are displayed each time a user clicks the button. While not directly contributing (though many sites offer additional ways of support), visitors are making a difference in the sense that, had they not visited, no donation would have been given. Here are some of the most valuable click to donate sites I found on the web.

how to hack dc++ ,fake share and others

First Note:
DC++ is a advertisement free, P2P file sharing client.
BCDC++, fulDC, StrongDC, ApexDC, LinuxDC++ are some of the popular mods.
I am using fulDC as a standard for this tutorial.
The Hub Admin can set a minimum amount of share you must have to connect to the hub. If you find the restrictions insane, you have other options.
Trick 1 : Network Share
It allows direct network shares as in \\173.23.24.112\movies etc. More interestingly, if you dont want to depend on others, you can have your own network shares hashed like \\mypc\movies. If that is not sufficient, you can also share a subfolder like \\mypc\movies\korean and hash it differently ( The client assumes both of them to be different ). So, you have now effectively shared korean folder thrice. This funda can go upto (sub)^n folders.
Trick 2: Fake Files
Some softwares allow you to create files which show huge file size though they consume only a few kbs on your hard-disk. This one is my favourite - Huge Small File. It allows you to create upto 4GB file which consumes about 5kb of your disk.
But creating a insane number of shares will drag the attention of your peers/admins. Name those files which nobody ever want to check out( Use your creativity depending on your hub peers). FYI, Whenever somebody else downloads that file, he will download the file of 4 GB (or whatever) size. So, its quite safe.
Trick 3: Fake Shares
For this, you need to know how does DC work. Your share information are stored in three files, files.xml.bz2, shares.xml.bz2 and HashIndex.xml. Just look at the organisation of these files, Everything is self-Explanatory.
Use bzip2 for decompression into .xml and compression back to .xml.bz2. Remember to set your preferences not to refresh file list.
Just an example:
Lets increase the size of a file. First locate the already hashed file in HashIndex.xml under , then copy the Root of the file in the same line and search for it under , change the size of the file in the same line. Now decompress files.xml.bz2 and share.xml.bz2 into .xml formats and search for the same file again and change the file size. Now compress both of them back into .bz2 and replace the original files.
Similarly, you can add more files which are actually not there, or copy and paste few lines (can be yours or your friends) under a dummy directory.

Get your forum created and hosted for free
Have you ever dreamed of having your own forum just like your blog without any cost.In this post I will be comparing a lot of OpenSource php fourms and different free hosts. In todays internet world which is more tilted towarsds social networking forums are gaining more popularity. An Internet forum, or message board, is a bulletin board system in the form of a discussion site.he members submit topics for discussion (known as threads) and communicate with each other using publicly visible messages (referred to as posts) or private messaging.Take a look at the sample forum if you are new to the concept
www.android.dailyforum.net
You find a lot of forums written in php(pre hypertext processor) language, but there are some asp.net alternatives also available. The most famous and widely used among the php forum's are phpbb and vbulletin board.
PHPBB3:The current stable release of phbb is 3.02 version which is availble for download in their homepage.
The administrator panel looks like thisPUNBB:

PunBB is a fast and lightweight PHP-powered discussion board. It is released under the GNU General Public License. Its primary goals are to be faster, smaller and less graphically intensive as compared to other discussion boards. PunBB has fewer features than similar software, but is generally faster and outputs smaller, semantically correct XHTML and CSS compliant pages.
Currently, PunBB runs on a number of operating systems that are able to support the PHP scripting language. To store its data, PunBB relies on either MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQLite.

Utah state university: A famous statement by the president of the university" In the tradition of land grant universities, Utah State University OpenCourseWare assures that no individual who is prepared and who desires the opportunity to advance his or her education is turned away. USU OCW provides an unprecedented degree of free and open access to the knowledge and expertise of our faculty for the benefit of every citizen of the state of Utah and every person in the world. As we enter the 21st century, services like OpenCourseWare will enable land grant institutions to more fully accomplish their missions.USU offers its students a number of opportunities to obtain college credit for what they have learned in nontraditional ways - like using USU OpenCourseWare! If you are interested in earning credit for USU courses without taking the courses, you have a variety of "credit by examination" options available. These include:

What is open courseware?
An OpenCourseWare is a free and open digital publication of high quality educational materials, organized as courses. The OpenCourseWare Consortium is a collaboration of more than 200 higher education institutions and associated organizations from around the world creating a broad and deep body of open educational content using a shared model. The mission of the OpenCourseWare Consortium is to advance education and empower people worldwide through opencourseware.
Goals of the consortium:- Extend the reach and impact of opencourseware by encouraging the adoption and adaptation of open educational materials around the world.
- Foster the development of additional opencourseware projects.
- Ensure the long-term sustainability of opencourseware projects by identifying ways to improve effectiveness and reduce costs.
http://www.ocwconsortium.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17&Itemid=32
There are other consortium's like chinese CORE—China Open Resource for Education and japanese open courseware consortium as a part of ocw.One thing I feel very bad is that no Indian university is involved in the project, though I don't know why but I feel it will be helpful for Indian students if some of the top universities like IIT's and BITS joins.
CITY WALL MULTI TOUCH DISPLAY

At the centre of Helsinki(Finland) a large multi touch display is installed to guide the visitors and tourists on october 08 .City wall is a multi touch display that supports large number of people interacting by touch and display simultaneously

"The display is well suited for interactive communication in public spaces. Anyone can send photos, comments and watch videos on the display and interact with each other, as well as with other content on the display by using SMS and Flickr”, tells Ann Morrison, Researcher and Project Leader, HIIT.
CityWall presents images, videos, descriptions and discussions on how nature in Helsinki benefits and disturbs dwellers. A single tree, for instance, can be both a useful physical shelter, an appreciated element in the urban landscape, a source for an irritating pollinosis and a danger for traffic. Many of the changes in the benefits and nuisances of nature are, at least partly, dependent on human activities. The settling of rabbits as permanent residents to Helsinki, for instance, follows partly from global warming that allows released pet rabbits to survive winters in urban green areas.
city wall is made using modules of lcd's of size 46 or 32" inch variants. They can be used as builiding blocks for the larger lcd's just like constructing a wall with bricks.Connect each module's HDMI, FireWire and USB cables into a Mac, Linux or Windows computer, turn on the power and go. Handy status lights even indicate when a cable is connected properly. No setup, no moving parts, no maintenance. Just ready to roll displays that can be powered from even a laptop.
You can even send comments to display on city wall by sending sms to +358505112572.City wall continously downlads images and videos from flickr that are tagged with helsinki.

- /nogaiaauth: disables GAIA authentication method. The same as above.
- /factoryreset: set settings back to default.
- /gaiaserver servername.com: uses a different GAIA server to connect to Google Talk. Used for debug purposes only, there are no other known GAIA servers.
- /mailto email@host.com: send an email with Gmail
- /diag: start Google Talk in diagnostic mode
- /log: probably has something to do with the diagnostic logging

MOZILLA LABS INTRODUCES GEODE

GEODE (with caption Always know where you are) will be introduced by mozilla for next beta releases of firefox 3.1
You’ve arrived in a new city, a new continent, a new coffee shop. You don’t really know where you are, and are looking for a good place to eat. You pull out your laptop, fire up Firefox, and go to your favorite review site. It automatically deduces your location, and serves up some delicious suggestions a couple blocks away and plots directions there.
In order for this to be a possibility, your browser needs to know where you are.
To do this, future versions of Firefox plan on supporting the new W3C Geolocation Specification, which adds the native ability for Web sites to request, and you to optionally grant access to, your location. We’re still working out the specifics, but we’re hoping that location will be provided by one or more user selectable service providers and methods, e.g. GPS-based, WiFi-based, manual entry, etc. You’ll be able to play with this in the upcoming beta releases of Firefox 3.1, as well as alpha releases of Fennec.
when a web site requests your location a notification bar will ask how much information you want to give that site: your exact location, your neighborhood, your city, or nothing at all.Unlike normal GPS-based methods which can take upwards of 45 seconds for a lock, Geode works both inside and outside with an accuracy of between 10 to 20 meters, normally within a second.

SUPER SPEED USB 3.0

OPTDEMO AT THE CONFERENCE
A USB 3.0 CABLE
have you ever felt bored of waiting for file transfer from a USB device.?? Thought of uploading a movie in approximately 1 minute or loading your images/videos from mobile phone in minutes???Sounds great!!.
By the year 2009/10 USB3.0 is set to release with a mind blowing speed of 4.8 gb/s that's like filling a pendrive of 4 gb in less than a minute.

Going to the technical details the USB3.0 will be backward compatible and adds five new lines which are parallel to the old one's in different plane and as expected the wire will be thicker compared to the previous versions.Uploads and downloads are on the seperate wlines. One pair for tranmitting and other pair for recieving data..Hence it allows both read and write at the same time.USB 3.0 is going to charge more devices also since it can carry more power 900 milliamps compared to 100 milliamps in previous versions. This => charging 4 devices at a time from a single hub

The beneficiaries of the usb 3.0 will be external hard disks, flash readers, video cameras and ofcourse me:P.USB has been criticized for high cpu usage.Intel should keep this problem as USB 3.0 will be going to add to the problem with its super speed capabilities unless taken care of.
google introduces sms channels in INDIA!!!

Google india labs has introduced google sms channesls just now.A sms channel is like google groups where we have subscribers, and we recieve emails from the group.Just like this the email in the above concept is replaced by the SMS.The wonderful thing in the above concept is the sms's are sent freely for the subscribers.I the user registration is very simple u have to have a google account just like gmail or other thing. You have to give a username for the sms channel and enter your phone number. You will recieve a confrimation code from the google you have to enter the confirmation code to verify your phone number .After registration is over you can create very easily the google channels(groups) just like google groups or you can subscribe to already registered groups.
Currently it supports English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.Though there are a lot of alternatives for this like sms gupshup and others a product from google is worth takin a look(my opinion).
I have created two channels just check them if you are interested
1) to recieve updates about this blog

2) If you are a bitsian u should join this channel
